Danes Lane is now complete……
We’re really pleased to see the completion of 10 new council homes at Danes Lane in Keynsham, now ready for residents to move in.
The development is now known as Great Barn Court and provides six one-bedroom and four two-bedroom affordable homes.
The homes include solar PV panels, high levels of insulation and all-electric heating, helping to make them more energy efficient and keep running costs down for residents.
It’s been great to see the project progress from the early plans through to completed homes, making good use of previously underused council-owned land.

We’re excited to announce that ten energy-efficient affordable apartments are being built at Danes Lane, Keynsham. This development is part of the B&NES Homes Programme, using council-owned land to provide much-needed homes for local residents.
Construction is well underway, and the project is on track for completion in summer 2026. These new homes will offer modern, sustainable living and help support the local community.
